HEAT TRANSFER, TECHNICALLY-SPEAKING

All the mechanisms of heat transfer (radiation, convection, conduction) play a role in bringing the heat from outside into the living spaces of the house.

This is how heat is transferred to the living area. Heat radiated
from the sun is absorbed by the roof material, causing its temperature to rise. The hot roof material then radiates to the ceiling which in turn radiates heat into the living area.

Air in contact with the roof material is heated by conduction.
This in turn heats our living spaces by convection.

COOLING EFFECT, THE WAY

is a natural and passive system that limits
heat transfer through your roof. Absolutely no mechanical
device is used. The science simply involves the mechanisms
of reflection and ventilation to cool your entire house.

HEAT BLOCKING
Roof cooling is all about blocking heat radiation from the merciless sun. And with Radenshield, CPAC Monier’s own radiant barrier, your roof will highly and efficiently bloack and reflect the radiated heat.

NATURAL VENTILATION
Roof cooling covers the circulation of cool ventilation as well. The System’s Compactroll, metl battens, and eaves filler unit create a natural aeration stream from th eaves to the hip and ridges.

The Eaves Filler Unit allows cold air stream into the batten spaces. The cold air carries away the hot air below the roof tiles and cools the radiant foils. Then, the hot air releases through the ventilating Compactroll.

This process naturally repeats itself, allowing the roof to ‘breathe’, and the home to be cool.
